The release of Black Ops 2 for PC, Xbox 360 and Play station 3 on November 13th has been announced! Black Ops 2 will be the third main game to the Call of Duty series developed by Treyarch.
The game will have more open missions and new textures to make the action look cooler and intense than the original. The game is said to have improved techniques, Graphics, Sounds comparable to the quality of the Competitor Battlefield 3.
The story starts of in the 1980’s Cold War, in order to focus on the character origin of Blacks Ops II antagonist, Raul Menendez. Alex Mason of Black Ops will be the player protagonist in the 1980’s section of the game. In the 2025 section players get to take control of Alex Mason’s son, David Mason. Raul Menendez will be the bad guy, successfully provoking a war between China and the USA. David Mason will have many cool features and gears such as spotting objects behind walls with his shooting gun and firing helicopters at buildings by pointing at them with a laser.
The game will have different endings, depending on the choices the player makes on these so called Strike Force missions. On these missions players get a range of different goals to complete and they have many different options on how to complete them. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, robots and jetfighters are a couple of war assets the players can choose to control.
Developer Treyarch has not yet revealed the Multiplayer mode but said that it will go back to the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare basics. This means less kill-streak rewards for the players. Details of the Multiplayer mode are said to have been leaked, but these threads may be false and thus we can only rely on speculations.
Like Black Ops this game will also have a Zombie mode, which Treyarch considers to be the biggest Zombie game he has ever developed.
Zombies, robots and personalized wars… We can’t wait to play Black Ops II and see how the futuristic setting is!
